Halloween!

So it was time for the first Halloween in the US. My expectations were as usual sky high, and wow how disappointed I got! Not... it was a great day and even greater night. The preparations for the weekend were like anything you're trying to plan, it’s a last minute fix. We started on Tuesday with brainstorming and looking through all the stores that was filled with crap for Halloween, and the result was, nothing. So on Wednesday we tried a new approach and when to the Salvation Army. But the cloth in there was as bad as the smell. The panic stated to come. What the f!#*k should we where for Halloween??? But that same night we got a helping hand from an Italian Madonna. Not only did she come up with a great outfit, but she also knows where to buy the stuff needed and in was all very cheap. The guys from A Clockwork Orange were back in town! With myself as the lead character Alex, of course!...the only problem at this point was that I hadn't seen the movie and know nothing about it. So on Thursday we had to watch the move to be able to really get into the character. And what a character! One of the craziest and most psycho movies I have seen in a long time.

But when Halloween arrived we were ready, and boy did we look good! The whole gang was gathered and we looked just like the movie (except for a lot of stuff). the evening started off at our place, appartment 4, which was decorated with carved pumpkins from the day before and our friends was invited; the cop, the prisoner, Rambo, the maid, the Gypsy, the Italian mafia, etc. we know that this was going to be a long night since this was only the first stop out of 4 this evening, but that didn't stop us from raising our glasses over and over and.... you get the picture.

the 2:nd stop of the evening was at Mamma Mia, lots of Italians and lots of fun, the super sized limo had to go two rounds to be able to get everyone to the 3:rd place. Me and my gang was left behind to wait for the second round, so will we were waiting we mingled with the other guest and had some more drinks, good times.

The limo arrived and the ice cube war started inside the limo that took us to the 3:rd place. I was starting to get a bit tipsy at this point so I can't really remember where we whent. but it was fun, until the point when an American dressed as a pirate offered me a drink, which I off course accepted, and it must had been drugs in it, because after that drink a was totally wasted out of my mind! Thanks a lot pirate!! So after this pit-stop was we finally on our way to the main party.

The place was packed with people in the most odd and beautiful outfits. I was mingling hard and I don't think that anyone could miss Alex from A Clockwork Orange, aka I, who was way too much into character at this point, swinging my Cain at people being way to touchy and saying things with my best British accent that didn't make sense. But overall was this a great party, and day, and I am really glad that I was here to be a part of it.

PS. this blog post goes out as an apology to all the people that ran in to me, but all I can say is that I’m sorry, but it was all the American pirates fault!=)

No esta largo pero esta deligado!

hola pompi, como esta?

I woke up this Wednesday and couldn't hide my excitement for our trip to Mexico City! our tour guide Gabiota had sent us an plan for the activities and also what to pack, its good when someone else do the thinking for you.

she, Gabiota, met up with us at the airport, the flight which before arriving to MEX offered one of the most spectacular views i have ever seen. surrounded by high mountain peaks was the biggest city I've ever seen spreading out, truly amazing.

i found it fascinating that a city with a population above 20 million can have 40 million cars in movement all the time, the roads was like long straights of parking. the sightseeing spots was as impressive as the Mexican history. i honestly believe that i know more about Mexico's history now then the Swedish....but beside the cultural exhibition that we where on we also dived deep into the food and drinking cultura of the country. of course! Mexico offers so much more the just tacos, tequila, and cerveza. we spent hours and hours on eating and drinking. we had the graetest food i have eaten for a long time, probably because i live in Burger-land. and the drinks were as diverse as they were strong. we loved it. and when the spiciest of all food arived to the table me and Cris coulden't resist to have a dareing competition. the small pieces of fish transformed into small pieces of fire!!...our faces turned red, our lips, thoungs, and entire mouths were numb.

a great planed trip by gabi, muchas gracias. but this is all that you readers get to know, because what stays in Mexico City, happens in Mexico City!

hasta luego!

Death Action Sport Weekend!

the weekend of all weekends!

preparation: the weekend we all been waiting for the whole week, was Finally here!. Me and the rest of the Swedish crew have been on a hard and painful diet to be able to perform at our best on this weekend that can't be described as anything less than a combination of Iron Man and 5 marathons, in a row!!... we started 2 weeks ago with the training and decided that the one that lost the most weight before this weekend would be the winner. need less to say, we all lost, some more than other. but we had to have a winner so Cris that only(!) gained 2 kilos was the champ. (no need to say how much the other participants did gain). so with belly's looking like women and a BMI on about 45 we where far from ready for the big weekend.

- really need to get back to the gym, maybe next week!

Day 1.
Extreme Golf: we started the 18 holes with a beer and a burger at the club house at the number 3 ranked court in America, Mission bay golf club. after this warm of and a coin tossing we where teamed up and ready to go. unlucky as I've been lately i manage to team up with Cris. Just kidding..... pause.....not!, but at ´least my team mate brought a 6-pack of beer, perfect!! the game was intense and close, the terrible shots was as frequent as the "bad words" in Swedish, English and italiana. but in the middle of this brilliant golf did Pinche Danny mix in some of the most amassing trick-shots that i have ever seen. from tie he managed to hit a bus in movement, i salute you my brother from another mother. but that was far from it from the "Danny show". he managed to get his game together for some holes before it was time again for another spectacular shoot!..this time was just like the last one from tie. the conditions was perfect, no sun, no wind, actually nothing could go wrong. Pinche Danny steps up, placing himself in a weired position, swings and.....a long silence follows......., where did that motha ucker ball go???....KABOOM! strike two from Pinche Danny. it was not a bus again, neither a car or a house or a civilians (hopefully not), it was a boat this time! the laughter that followed almost killed us all. another perfect entertaining shot from team Bastard-man. so who ended up getting the last laughter? team Baster-man with The Boss and Pinche Danny off course. the only thing me and Cris could do was to congratulate and pay up, 18 beers and a sh_t load of Margaritas!....see you next year cheaters!

....the writers cramp is attacking my delicate fingers so i will have to say that this blog about the extreme action sports weekend will have to continue tomorrow...and Saturday= 5 death matches of Kickball! yeah!!!...and heavily armed gang related violence on Sunday....esse!!

...to be continued

the epidemy

i am not the person that judge people after race or nationality, but i starting to thing that immune system of Swedish people is a bit weaker than others, and I really thought that we were the super people of the world, i really did! but the 3 swedes living here at the moment are all being cursed by this probably deadly virus called a cold. the living room has been occupied by self pitying hypochondriacs. the worse thing i have seen since Tropic Thunder! we couldn't understand how we could have caught this disease since the weather has been warm and nice and our religion doesn't allow us to have any sexy time with women before marriage. but in the middle of this despair a little bird named neighbour whispered that the Italian Cicciolina brought this horribly decease with her back from her visit to Italy. thank you. what her punishment is going to be is not determent jet, but it will be harsh, believe my word=). '

so please post some suggestions on how she can make it up to us!

bless u!!

fab 4 in da' house

so this place might not make it to cribs on MTV but at least we made a good attempt to get one step closer the past weekend. Me, Cris, The Boss and pinche Danny went to IKEA to pick up some "necessities". it only took 2 minutes before it all became a "most stupid thing for the apartment" competition. we all did good and found lots of ridiculous things. but halfway into the competition we decided that this was kinda stupid, why (?)...so instead of buying random stupid thing we decided to buy "awesome" things to pimp up one area of the apartment, the living room. we started in the children's department (of course) and picked up some sweet sea horse, sea shell, sea star lamps in blue and orange. then we found the shark! beautifull. and a big poster of merman's. this in combination with a couple of nailed up sombrero hats, a big yucca palm tree and some fabulous plastic flower made this place to an oasis of inner peace! with these things on the wall the sofa found in the alley looks almost OK to live in.
dear blog!

the most original start ever. this blog is create because there is so much going on in my world that mostly involves the characters and the activities that takes place within these 4 walls. the blog will help us remember the things that happens because sometimes some might say that we are to drunk...figas... but mostly because all resent, previous, future residents are in the mid 20ies and we all know that it's down hill from that point, and to be honest it been down hill for some of us much longer.

just to give a short background to this place. It's located close to the beach i Pacific Beach, awesome! close to Garnet and all the bars, dangerous. close to fast food, super size me up! I moved in here in April and have been living here since. I might even say that I'm the foundation of the entire building, and world! no. but since i moved in here there has been more then 10 people staying here at different times, all times has been good times, but also completely different. at the moment is there as nice cultural mixture of people. and no mix without trouble!! Swedes, Italians, French, Chilenian, some additional Turkish, American, Mexican, to mention a few, to create a big bole of fun.

Welcome!
